Fitzgerald Wedding at the Quechee Club in Vermont

From the outside looking in Jen and Sean’s wedding day appeared like any other wedding, but really their wedding was just a little different. One week before their two year anniversary Jen and Sean had a beautiful wedding ceremony with their family and friends. Yes you read that correctly, Jen and Sean had said “I do” on a beach two years earlier, but who says you can’t have an intimate ceremony on the beach and take a little time to plan your dream wedding day. Many couples stress over all the “rules” there are when planning a wedding, but in reality there are no rules. There are many traditions but I feel your wedding day should be about you as a couple, so make your own traditions, and do what makes you happy, because those are the moments you will always remember.

I am so happy, I was able to capture Jen and Sean’s slightly nontraditional wedding day. It was simply perfect. The weekend started with the rehearsal dinner Friday night. Everyone met at Murphy Farm located at the Quechee Club in Vermont. Jen had been telling me for months about the charming farm house, and as soon as we arrived I feel in love with ever detail of the venue. The farm house over looks Lake Pinneo where the ceremony was held. The venue was better than I had ever imagined and I knew it was going to be the perfect setting for Jen and Sean’s wedding.

Saturday morning was filled with a few last minute finishing touches before the bridal party went to Just Paradise Salon to get their hair done. Even Maria the flower girl enjoyed a fancy pink drink while having her hair done.

We made our way back to the farm house for the wedding party to get ready. While the girls were upstairs doing their makeup and getting dressed, a couple of the groomsmen and the ring bearer took a quick dip in the lake before putting their suits on. Jen got her dress at Fiori Bridal in Essex Junction Vermont, and it looked stunning on her. The ceremony officiated by Jen’s brother Matt was simple, and spoke perfectly to Jean and Sean’s relationship.

After the ceremony we took a few formal photos as we made our way to the Quechee Club house, but this wedding was all about the candid photos from the reception. The Reception was decorated beautifully. Throughout the night there were so many small details referencing their theme “I love you to the moon and back”. It truly felt like they were dancing under the stars with all the candles that were lighting the room. The cake, made by Pi2 Confections in Rollinsford New Hampture, was not only delicious, but also told Jen and Sean’s story like it was a fairy tale. The DJ - 802DJ had all the guests dancing late into the night, and all the guests enjoyed taking silly photos in the photo booth using all the different props. It was truly a magical night filled with many fun moments that will always be remembered.

Jen and Sean I hope you enjoy these photos, there are many more to come. Your wedding was amazing and I am so glad I was able to be apart of your day.
